If Apple's Jony Ive Could Redesign The World
Sir Jonathan Paul "Jony" Ive is the designer and Senior Vice President of Design at Apple Inc. He has been working with Apple since 1992 and has held his current title since 1997. He is partially responsible for the designs of the iMac, iPod, iPhone, iPad and acts as principal designer of iOS 7. With his career in the spotlight once again, it seem that Jony is poised for global design domination.
Of course, Jony is going to take it slow with his global takeover. He will keep updating existing designs from Apple like FaceTime. The way FaceTime is set up now, you probably aren't even aware it has a logo. It's just a basic camera icon that doesn't need anything more to it. This design is just as simple but for some reason this time, it's the kind of logo that would make us never want to use this feature again. Ever.
